Creating Futures Through Technology Conference

Amy Tollison Pate, a native Starkville, Mississippi, resident, earned her Bachelor of Science in Technology Education and Master of Science in Instructional Technology from Mississippi State University. She currently serves as a Curriculum Technology Specialist for Starkville Oktibbeha School District, where she designs and facilitates trainings for teachers and maintains the technology equipment. Before her current position, Amy was a classroom teacher for twelve years at Starkville High School and Winona High School. Amy is a Microsoft Innovative Educator Master Trainer, an Apple Certified Teacher, Apple Learning Coach, and a Nearpod Certified Educator and PioNear. She has been a regular presenter for the Creating Futures Through Technology Conference, ISTE and for the Mississippi Educational Computing Association. Amy facilitates technology-based summer workshops for her district and occasionally Mississippi State University. She is an active member of International Society for Technology in Education.
